-Tenets of Faith-

 

*We believe that the canonized Bible is the inerrant, Divinely inspired Word of God and that it is closed (meaning that there is no new biblical revelation to be had or given.

 

*We believe in the Biblical (Genesis) account of creation.

 

*We believe that Jesus came into the world fully God and fully human in order that He may sacrifice His life to provide the way for those who will believe in Him to have eternal fellowship with the God head consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the Trinitarian doctrine of God.

 

*We believe that it is a supernatural work of God in human hearts that saves people, solely by His grace, and that He has chosen those whom shall be saved and causes them to accept His love and their salvation as He reveals Himself to them, this apart from works on their own behalf.

*We believe in the doctrine of Election.

 

*We believe that Romans 8:29-30 means what it says…

  • That God predestined ALL who would become His sons and daughters and that ALL of those whom He predestined, He called and that ALL those whom He called, He justified and that ALL those whom He justified, He will glorify.

  • ALL - we believe that no one lastingly falls away or is lost during this process.

 

*We believe that Salvation (and so necessarily sanctification) are by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone and so that such is a gift of grace from God to His chosen earned not in any way at any time by the human.

 

*We believe in the sufficiency of Christ’s atonement for all sin and that such is applied in the grace and reality of forgiveness for those sins to those who are chosen to put their faith in Jesus and so do.

*We believe that belief in and confession of ones own sinfulness against God and subsequent alienation from God can only be healed through faith in the rightful King of Kings- Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ and so God’s Son and fully God Himself as savior of the world and personal savior to you from your own eternal separation from God is the only way to life and truth and Heaven.

*We believe that Jesus was and so is the fulfillment of the O.T. law and that all commanded of His disciples in the New Testament is a command for those who follow Him today.  We believe that these demands can never be truly and purely fulfilled or achieved by humanities’ own work (striving) but only by Grace through its surrender to God as Jesus lives through them.  (…Jesus, the fulfillment of the law, lives through His true brothers and sisters, renewing them and bringing them all to eventual glorification with Himself.)

*We believe that prayer is communication and communion with God, powerful and effective, and a participation by grace into the spiritual “realm” of God’s workmanship.

 

*We believe that the church is the collective body of believers and so followers of Jesus.  We believe that the main purpose of the church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the nations and peoples of the world and to build up one another (the children of God) through the teaching of the whole Word of God - to correct, rebuke and encourage; to protect, lead, and guide the members of the Body of Christ.

 

*We believe that true born again, Bible believing Christians; that followers of Jesus, still sin.

* We believe that none can know the day or hour that Christ will return.

*We believe that God made humans male and female and that He did not make any mistake in such.
