Purple Cross Events
-What We Are-
We are a branch of Just a Step Ministries who travel to those with whom we have crossed paths and by the grace and empowering of the Spirit, facilitate events that provide exposition of truth, giving of encouragement, and engagement opportunity.
We are a traveling ministry used to facilitate the multifaceted expression of God's redemptive power and grace and therefore to Him praise... this in many forms. Accordingly, Purple Cross Events are comprised of a multifaceted experience; fellowship, music, challenge, worship, skit, relaxation, innovation, demonstration, message, poem, game, and meal. Apart from fundamental structuring and the dutiful facilitation of safety, these things are all left open to the Spirit's leading through an obedient adaptation to individual event circumstances.
Our team is one prepared to offer our own gifts and testimonies in concordance with the event circumstances, though as we travel, those to whom we travel are greatly encouraged to engage their families, communities and congregations that they too may be included in the ministering to others through expression in whatever way the Lord has given them to praise.
While we do aim to not exclude but deeply involve the people with whom we are creating each event, Purple Cross Events are not left completely open to the recipients discretion regarding function and content. We are a part of the body of Christ, we are His church, and so every event shall be one where the Spirit may magnify Himself and dwell among us... every event shall be one of edification in nature, that is, not just to encourage fun, but to teach truth and build up, to engage its guests in that which will lead them deeper into the consideration of and focus upon Jesus. The overarching theme of every Purple Cross Event is prayer and encouragement.
-Mission Statement-
Our mission is to be used to facilitate the administration of God's love through event. Our conviction to do so is motivated and driven by the gift and power of compassionate encouragement. It is our goal to display and pay forward this gift and consequently our hope and expectation to be used to invoke actionful response in others, that they may be used to do the same.
It is our intent to travel to those whom are brought across our path and by the circumstantial leading of the Spirit to facilitate an event whereat all participating may experience the love of Christ. It is our belief that this can best be done by offering many outlets of experience into which the varying character of those we serve can plug into and be filled, healed, refreshed, and spoken into.
-Statement of Belief-
People find encouragement in many things, and many things are used at different and the same time to speak into the lives of others. One thing we find that continuously displays the great power of Christ is sharing the testimony of the work He has done in the lives of others. While to share testimony face to face is surely powerful and effective, and very much displayed through our events, we believe that to overlook the various other ways that the Lord wants to reach the community around us through the testimonies of the church is a great disservice to ourselves, others, and most of all, to God. For the testimonies of open fellowship restored, the gift of love revealed and embraced, the gift of grace shared, the joy of expression through all forms of art... these are not only relevant, but beautiful and powerful.
Send event requests to our ministry email found on the contact page. Include in them, your heart for expression and our team will prayerfully consider. We will then contact you and arrange a time to discuss further the details of event through a vision casting and event planning meeting (depending on the distance of your location from our closest team as well as traveling budget, this may be in person or by way of a video/phone call).
Following this, Purple Cross Events will send a team to implement that discussed.
