Love.
Regarding service:
We ask questions and listen to hear directly from them what be needed and helpful, and also that we may hear how to pray for them, which shall be revealed, we believe, through the Spirit among conversation and interaction with them. For in the words of missionary Joy Skinner, "Listening is certainly important. By listening to someone, you allow God to reveal to you how to pray for them and prayer is powerful."
We shall serve those whose path we are brought across as best we can physically. This may be aiding a woman stranded on the road by changing her flat tire, it may attaching new gutters to the roof of a congregation member's home. Our physical service may be playing with a needy child, or visiting and caring for the sick. It shall be many different things, and if their need be beyond our physical ability, then we will partner them with churches and ministry organizations alongside who we are given to come.
Part of funneling, if you will, the least of these, is not simply dropping them off in the physical and spiritual care of any who claim belief. Part of this we believe is utilizing the equipment of spiritual testing that we have been given in Christ. Yes, we shall not simply release to churches and organizations all who we are given to serve, but we shall test those in leadership that we may find them trustworthy in truth and edifying in the Spirit. God shall reveal this.
Efforts to attain contact information for all individuals as well as churches will be made, that we may revisit and hold accountable the commitments to be made.
Regarding prayer:
We shall take note of what they say and for them there pray as the Lord does lead. Yes, we shall offer prayer for they who share once they've shared and if received, then by the Spirit lead them to come before the Lord themselves and pray. We shall also pray for those whom we are brought to throughout our "team" prayer. That is, we shall set time aside every day as a team for prayer concerning those who we are led to.
As the Spirit leads, prayer shall also be shared with any found trustworthy whom the least may be partnered with regarding continual, local ministering.
*As the Spirit leads - This is a difficult concept, as the true Christian realizes, to distinctively explain. For it is so far beyond common explanation and greatly diverse among followers. The Spirit's leading is notably discovered through heart placement confirmed through the Word of Christ and circumstantial occurrences (complimentary coincidences).
